I have been fortunate enough to have had the chance to go to beautiful Sarawak, to teach a short, three-day intensive course. Here is the blog I made for the group. By adding the comments function I was able to have the Course Participants give peer-to-peer feedback on their presentation videos, and to see the overall objectives, plan of activity and rationale for the course.

Sabah Centralized Training, April - May 2014
Within just a few days of starting this intensive, centralized course, it soon became apparent that we would, quite literally, run out of wall-space onto which to place our activity-related posters. The solution? A virtual wall! Soon it became a space where lesson plans were placed for teachers not on the course, who would 'live-test' them, give feedback to our group, and allow for adjustments as needed. Lots of resources for you. Here. Langkawi Centralized Training July - August 2014 Coordinated remotely, and co-authored by trainers at the venue, this page is also a "virtual wall" of sorts, for posting teacher-generated resource materials, lesson plans, videos and more. By all means pay a visit, and feel-free to use whatever materials you find useful. Here Sulmawati's Blog
Malaysia's "E-Teacher", who runs her own teaching page, gave a presentation to the Ayer Tawer 1 group, and so inspired them that they wanted to make their own page. So we did, right there and then. They had no experience at all up 'til that time, but with minutes they were editing html code! Here. Also, a blog built with a specific need in mind, engaging CPs through the use of their smartphones. A work in progress. Here. |
